On 7th December 2024, Permai Polyclinics Group, under the leadership of its Founder and Chairman, Datuk Dr. James, joined forces with the Association of Private Practitioners Sabah (APPS), led by its President Dr. Devadas, the Lions Club of KK Host, also chaired by Dr. Devadas, the UMS Ophthalmology Department, and the Kota Marudu Dental Team to successfully host a medical camp at SK Talantang, Kota Marudu.

 

A total of 132 villagers benefitted from the camp, which offered:

 

• General health check-ups: Including body mass index, diabetes, and hypertension screenings

• Deworming treatments for children

• Eye screening: Conducted by University Malaysia Sabah’s Ophthalmology Department

• Dental services: Screenings and extractions performed by the Kota Marudu Dental Team

 

The event was a joyful and impactful experience, providing much-needed healthcare services to the local community.
