The Permai Polyclinics Group (PPG) played a key role in the success of the 5th Scientific Conference of the Association of Private Practitioners Sabah (APPS), held from 4th to 6th July 2025.

The event, led by APPS President Dr. Devadas P. Ramankutty, Vice President Dr. Rizin Kusop, and the APPS Committee, gathered 140 doctors and 36 vendors and sponsors for 2.5 days of scientific updates, hands-on workshops, and networking.

Serving as Organising Chairman, Dr. Khaing Lynn Maung worked alongside Datuk Dr. James Jeremiah, PPG Chairman, who provided strategic guidance. Chief Admin Mellisa Lau coordinated logistics, vendors, and registration, ensuring smooth operations. Permai doctors and staff also volunteered throughout the event, supporting both the scientific programme and exhibition.

The conference showcased the strong collaboration between APPS and Permai Polyclinics in advancing continuing medical education and strengthening private healthcare in Sabah.
