Kota Kinabalu, Thursday, 4 September 2025 — The Association of Private Practitioners Sabah (APPS), in collaboration with Permai Polyclinics Group (PPG), KPJ Sabah Specialist Hospital, and Sabah Kinabalu Pink Ribbon (SKPR), with iDSMED as Supporting Partner, has officially launched the Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign to promote early detection and raise funds for breast cancer support.

The Memorandum of Collaboration was signed by Dr. Devadas Pathiyil Ramankutty, President of APPS; Datuk Dr. James Jeremiah, Founder & Chairman of PPG; Mr. Mohamad Faizal Mohamed, CEO of KPJ Sabah Specialist Hospital; and Ms. Christy Salazar, President of SKPR.

As part of this campaign, breast cancer screening is available at Permai Polyclinics Kota Kinabalu for only RM50. Patients requiring further evaluation will be referred to KPJ Sabah Specialist Hospital, where mammograms are offered at a special campaign rate.

The campaign runs daily until 25 October 2025, by appointment. All proceeds will be donated to SKPR to support ongoing efforts in awareness, advocacy, and patient care.

This initiative underscores the importance of early detection, which significantly improves treatment outcomes and saves lives.
